Tooth discoloration is an abnormal color, tint, or translucency of the teeth.

Causes:

Large consumption of coffee/tea/red wine.
Taking antibiotics at a young age.
Taking antibiotics during pregnancy (for the baby).
Cigarette.
A dead (devitalized) tooth that has had trauma.

Prevention:

Regular visits with your hygienist.
Daily use of toothbrush and floss.
Reduce coffee/tea/red wine consumption.
Eliminate cigarettes.

Whitening in the chair or at home can be a good solution (e.g. Zoom whitening).
